I have a vague memory from my (early!!) childhood of a sketch on the
Royal Variety Performance not long after the actor playing Dr, Who
changed from William Hartnell to Patrick Troughton of the two of them
dancing around a mock-up of the inside of the Tardis singing a song
that had the chorus "I'm the old Dr. Who and I'm the new Dr. Who". Am
I imagining this? (It could have been a similar show).
