Madonna Apparently Booed at London Premiere of 'W.E.'

Madonna may be the Full of Pop, but her latest directorial effort, 'W.E.,' continues to be treated just like a common peasant. A period-spanning drama concerning the romance between King Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson in 1937, 'W.E.' opened to lackluster reviews in the Venice Film Festival captured, and was apparently edited lower because of its debut in the BFI London Film Festival over the past weekend. As though that were not bad enough, Madge was apparently booed prior to the London premiere due to tardiness. Cry on her, Argentina? Per THR, fans anxiously waited for "hrs" to determine Madonna in Leicester Square, and were disappointed when she only stopped briefly to provide a general wave. Stated the star to Sky News, "I know what it's enjoy being misinterpreted on the global scale," an evaluation to Wallis Simpson, who had been vilified on her scandalous romance with King Edward.
